Kędzierzyn-KoĽle has unique
geographic location, which is characterized by
attractive landscape and conditions that are conducive
for the development of industry. It is one of
the fastest developing economic centers in the
southern Poland. The city is situated at the crossing
of major transportation routes linking the Upper
and Lower Silesia Regions (Wrocław, Gliwice, Katowice),
and has a convenient system of road, water and
rail routes. The River Oder, together with the
Gliwice Canal, provides water transportation links
not only with the Upper Silesia, but also with
the western Europe. Kędzierzyn-KoĽle is also one
of major railroad hubs, due to its location along
major national and international rail routes.
The city is easily accessible by road (C-E59 route).
Moreover, a city beltway has been recently built
and Kędzierzyn-KoĽle has easy access to A-4 motorway,
from the Olszowa exit, they journey to which takes
from 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the location
you are in. Last, but not least, airports in Kraków,
Katowice, Wrocław and Ostrava are within arm's
reach.
Kędzierzyn-KoĽle is situated in the heart of Europe
and six different capital cities are located within
300-400km distance from the city. Apart from the
favorable location, equally important is the industrial
tradition of the city, well-developed infrastructure,
and availability of highly-qualified and educated
personnel pool. Kędzierzyn-KoĽle offers several
investment sites with full utility supply. Every
person interested in taking up business activity
in the city will obtain full support and protection
of city authorities and can also count on tax

Having in mind the development of the city,
an initiative resulting in the signing of an agreement
on the establishment of the Kędzierzyn--KoĽle
Industrial Park has been taken. The Park provides
conditions for establishing businesses there that
are conducive for the establishment of new, durable
jobs. It offers technical infrastructure that
is indispensable for running a business there
(sites, manufacturing halls, office buildings,
stores, railroad sidings, utility supply, sewage
treatment plants, power and gas supply), and offers
services that support business activity.
The city also has unique climate and tourist appeal.
Local residents have access to green areas and
you can find several interesting sights in Kędzierzyn-KoĽle.
The Dębowa water reservoir and AZOTOR sports and
recreation complex are the venues of choice for
recreation. Other attractions of Kędzierzyn-KoĽle
include modern Sports and Entertainment Hall that
can house up to 6,000 spectators (including the
floor). At the Hall, Mostostal-Azoty Kędzierzyn-KoĽle
Volleyball Team, many time Polish Champion, winner
of the Polish Cup and participant of Europeans
Masters' League plays its games there within Polish
Volleyball League. Residents and visitors to the
city can play volleyball, handball, indoor football
and badminton there. The hall also incorporates
a gym, bowling alley, cafe, and biological regeneration
facilities.
A major strength of Kędzierzyn-KoĽle is well-developed
hotel and catering services offer, rich cultural
offer and long-standing experience in the staging
of sports and recreation events with local, provincial,
national and international character. All this
makes Kędzierzyn-KoĽle a city with a huge potential,
