The Municipality of Przykona is a picturesque
and extremely attractive part of the Wielkopolskie
Province located in the south-east of the region
along the Łódź - Przykona - Turek route and on
the River Teleszyna in the Turek County. Local
authorities make it one of their priorities to
provide the best conditions for investors and
this is reflected by the fact that Przykona holds
the title of the Fair Play Municipality - Certified
Investment Location and has implemented ISO 9001:2000.
The high standard of Municipal operations is also
reflected in numerous awards of regional and national
significance, to mention the Patron of Polish
Ecology, the Environment-Friendly Municipality,
the Promoter of Ecology, the Best Rural Municipality
and the Local Governments Golden 100 in 2005.

The main assets of the Municipality of Przykona,
which contribute to its development, are the excellent
location of investment sites along no. 72 (Poznań-
Konin-Turek-Uniejów-Łódź) national road, which
is a major transport route for the consumer goods
market. The nearest exit from the A2 motorway
is only 23kilometres away in Kościelec. The sites
on offer are included in the guidelines of the
Strategy for the Development of the Municipality
and designated in the Spatial Development Plan
as economic activation areas. They total 55ha,
and approximately 50% of the area is the property
of the Municipality. In addition, all the sites
are fully provided with technical infrastructure.
To meet investors' needs, local authorities have
introduced a system of real estate tax deductions
for companies who are launching their operations
in the area for the first time. These deductions
can be extended to subsequent periods and additional
deductions are offered for every new job created.
The Przykona Reservoir is an interesting local
attraction. Built in 2004 and located in the central
part of the Municipality, it is a major contribution
to the development of tourism and recreation in
the region. The surrounding recreation areas include
sites which are meant to be developed into a scouting
campsite, piers, car parks, beaches, water sport
equipment hire and small catering facilities.
The housing developments comprise summerhouses
built on approximately 400 plots. The Reservoir
is surrounded by beautiful forests, which provide
walking and recreation areas to both residents
and tourists. The forest complex covers an area
of 2,881 hectares, which forms 26% of the whole
Municipal territory. An extensive mosaic of ecosystems
enhances the natural assets and the landscape
making up for the unvaried land formations.
In the proximity of Przykona Reservoir, there
are approximately 30 hectares of attractive sites,
which are designated in the Spatial Development
Plan for summerhouses and services related to
recreation and tourism.
Technical infrastructure of the Municipality is
of a very high standard. The total length of asphalt
roads is 113.4 kilometres. An important item among
local investments is water supply and wastewater
management. 100% of the Municipality has access
to a 119-kilometre-long water supply system, which
is in good condition. Four water plants operate
within the system, whereas the wastewater disposal
and treatment system comprises five treatment
plants with a total capacity of 323 m3/day and
65.6 kilometres of wastewater systems with house
drains. 65% of the population of the Municipality
are connected to collective wastewater systems.
