Rekreacji wiemy tyle, ile sugeruje nam nazwa. Co tak naprawdę się pod nią kryje?
Celem działalności POSIR-u jest realizacja zadań z dziedziny kultury fizycznej. Są to zarówno przedsięwzięcia własne miasta, jak i zadania w tym
zakresie miastu powierzone. Tak więc przedmiotem naszych działań jest udostępnianie bazy sportowej i rekreacyjnej zainteresowanym osobom i jednostkom organizacyjnym, takim jak: kluby, związki sportowe, fundacje, organizacje kultury
fizycznej i turystyki, szkoły, uczelnie, zakłady pracy i wiele innych.
Prowadzimy również działalność służącą upowszechnianiu kultury fizycznej i sportu. Organizujemy imprezy sportowe i turystyczne oraz zajęcia z zakresu
rehabilitacji ruchowej. Mamy do dyspozycji bazę sportowo-rekreacyjną, którą poddajemy bieżącej konserwacji, a także modernizacji i rozbudowie.
Świadczymy też usługi hotelarsko-gastronomiczne. Nadzorowane obiekty wykorzystujemy
sami, udostępniamy okazjonalnie, oddajemy w najem bądź dzierżawę. W tym celu niezbędne jest więc również prowadzenie działalności marketingowej, reklama i promocja utrwalająca wizerunek przedsiębiorstwa, pokazująca nasze dokonania,
bazę, zamierzenia.- Najbardziej znanym obiektem spośród tych, którymi przedsiębiorstwo zarządza, jest "Tor Regatowy Malta" wraz
z całą infrastrukturą. Jaka jest aktualna oferta kompleksu?
Jest to jeden z najnowocześ-niejszych na świecie kompleksów sportowo-rekreacyjnych, przeznaczony
do uprawiania kajakarstwa, wioślarstwa i innych sportów wodnych. Spełnia także doniosłą rolę jako obiekt, na terenie którego odbywają się imprezy kulturalne, rekreacyjne, rozrywkowe, w których
uczestniczą nie tylko mieszkańcy Poznania.
Do kompleksu obok toru wodnego (2000 m/175 m) należą również centrum obsługi imprez sportowych i centrum prasowe. Mamy tam salę audiowizualną na 121 miejsc z bezprzewodowym nag
łośnieniem i systemem tłumaczeń symultanicznych, wieżę sędziowską i tablicę wyników, trybunę na 2000 widzów, szatnie, gabinety lekarskie i odnowy biologicznej. Obok toru są tu korty tenisowe, amfiteatr i kąpielisko.
Ciekawostką może być fakt, że nazwa obiektu pochodzi od Zakonu Kawalerów Maltańskich, którzy w XII wieku otrzymali te tereny od króla Mieszka Starego.
Perłą tego kompleksu jest kemping
"Malta", który otrzymał w tym roku tytuł "Mister". Jak chcą państwo ten fakt wykorzystać?
Chciałbym podkreślić, że to nie pierwsza nagroda dla naszego obiektu. Kemping był wielokrotnie nagradzany w
konkursach krajowych. Ponadto w tym roku Komisja Usług i Standaryzacji przy Województwie Wielkopolskim przyznała ośrodkowi cztery gwiazdki - ocenę maksymalną w tej kategorii usług.

zwrócić uwagę na pełną nazwę
kempingu, który w zestawieniu z salą konferencyjną i innymi obiektami tworzy "Całoroczne Centrum Szkoleniowo-Rekreacyjne". Obiekt posiada niekwestionowane walory
wynikające z jego usytuowania (dogodny dojazd do centrum miasta, sąsiedztwo terenów zielonych), oryginalnej architektury i funkcjonalności.
Chciałbym więc zaprosić wszystkich do organizowania szkoleń, kursów, obozów
sportowych, wczasów dla grup zorganizowanych i osób indywidualnych. Miło nam będzie gościć państwa przez cały rok.

the director of the Poznański Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji.
The name of the Poznański Ośrodek
Sportu i Rekreacji (POSiR- Poznań Sports and Recreation Center) suggests what it does in general, but what do you do in particular?
The main activities of the POSiR are related to the propagation of physical fitness. These
include local initiatives as well as ones entrusted with the city. Our core activity is making available sports and recreation facilities to individuals and institutions, such as sports clubs and associations, foundations, tourism
and physical fitness organizations, schools, and many other institutions.
Our operations are aimed at promoting sports and physical fitness. We organize tourism and sporting events, as well as activities related to
physical therapy. We use sports and recreation facilities that are constantly being modernized and developed.
We also provide restaurant and hotel services. We use the facilities for our
needs, and occasionally make them available to others, renting and leasing them. This is why marketing activities, advertising, and promotion aimed at preserving the image of the enterprise and propagating our achievements,
facilities, and plans for the future are of primary importance to us.
One of the most popular facilities managed by the POSiR is the Malta Regatta Track and the facilities related to it. What is the current offer of the Track?
The regatta track is a state of the art sports and recreation complex designed for canoeing, rowing, and other water sports. Another important role of the center is as a venue for cultural, recreation, and entertainment events
attended by the residents of Poznań and guests from all over Poland and abroad.
Apart from the regatta track (2000m. long and 175 m. wide), the complex is comprised of auxiliary facilities (a service center) for sporting events,
and a press center.
We have an audio-video room with 121 seats and cordless audio equipment, as well as aparatuses for simultaneous translation. The facilities also include a referee stand, score board and a stand for 2000
spectators. The interior facilities include changing rooms, doctor offices, and a fitness club. In addition, an amphitheater, bathing beach and tennis courts are located in the vicinity of the complex.
It is an interesting fact
that the complex has taken its name from the order of the Malta knights, to whom in the 12th c. King Mieszko Stary granted the grounds the complex is located in.
Last year the Malta camping site, which is the pearl of the
complex, was granted the prestigious title of 'MISTER'. How do you intend to profit from this fact?
I would like to say that this is not the first award granted to the camping site. It has won several national competitions
before. Moreover, the Committe for Srevices Classification and Standarization at the Wielkopolska Governor's Office has granted the center four stars, which is the highest mark in the rating of this type of services.
We want to
emphasize the fact that the camping site together with conference room and other facilities constitute elements of the Całoroczne Centrum Szkoleniowo-Rekreacyjne (All Season Recreation and Training Center). The facility has several
advantages, such as its location (in the green areas and easy access from the city center),original architecture and practicality.
I would like to take the opportunity and invite the readers of Panorama to organize training,
sports training, and holiday stays for organized groups and individuals here. It will be our pleasure to house you all year long.
