Oleśnica to 40-tysięczne miasto położone na Nizinie Śląskiej, nieopodal Wrocławia. Miasto bardzo stare, o rodowodzie sięgającym XII w., i bardzo piękne ze swoistym kolorytem, mieszanką trzech kultur: polskiej, czeskiej i niemieckiej.
