Szczecinek is located in the heart of the Central
Pomerania region, in Drawskie Lakeland area, on
a major Poznań - Kołobrzeg transportation route.
Several road and rail routes linking the largest
Polish cities cross there. Attractive location
and close proximity to Polish borders with neighboring
countries add to the significant investment attractiveness
of the town.
Szczecinek avails of full technical infrastructure
with the predominance of timber and agri-food
industries. The town is dynamically developing
and new investment sites have been set within
its borders. Local authorities offer several tax
leaves and preferences to investors, such as:
- the right to deduct 50% of investment outlays
from income,
- possibility to apply for loans and leaves under
the act on employment and counteracting unemployment,
- possibility to obtain leaves and rebates on
real estate taxes set by the municipalities offered
to entrepreneurs that create new jobs and expand
their operations.
