Tomaszów Lubelski is located
in the south-eastern borderland of Poland in the
Lubelskie Province. The border crossing point
with Ukraine: Hrebenne Rava Ruska is situated
within the distance of only 22 km from the city.
With a population of 21,400, Tomaszów Lubelski
is located on the Warsaw Lublin Lvov transportation
route of paramount importance, and also boasts
a very well-developed infrastructure.

One of the ambitious objectives of town authorities
has been a continuous improvement of its residents'
living conditions. We are enhancing the aesthetics
of city squares, streets, we are implementing
plans for developing sewage system in northern
part of the city, as well as for the construction
of a sewage treatment plant. We have been investing
in education, as well as in improvement of sports
and recreation infrastructure. Vicinity of a border
crossing point with Ukraine is an asset appreciated
by those entrepreneurs who are interested in relations
with our eastern neighbors.

We have developed sites available for industrial
and service development. Tomaszów Lubelski is
the seat of Off-campus Faculty of Legal and Economic
Sciences and Off-campus Didactic Centre of the
Faculty of Humanities of the Catholic University
of Lublin which provides education to approx.
1,800 students both from Poland and from abroad.
Tomaszów Lubelski is also the seat of the county
and administrative bodies for the local municipalities,
as well as for centers for trans-border cooperation
between the European Union and Ukraine.
Environmental and tourist assets of the city and
its adjacent surroundings, as well as attractive
recreational and sports terrains with back-up
facilities provide excellent opportunities for
active holidays, organization of sports camps,
both in winter and summer seasons.
Our town located in the Roztocze Region extends
